Does the covid test hurt?

I have to get tested when I go into labor, it’s mandatory and I’m so nervous...I remember getting the flu one done a couple years back and cried. Ugh this is crazy! Testing everyone symptoms or not, I get it but I’m already nervous about labor to begin with!!

Personally I thought the covid swab was worse than giving birth, but if you don't mind things being stuck up your nose than you should be ok.

I work in a doctors office we test people for covid daily. It is a swab up your nose so if that’s what you had for your flu one it’ll be the same

My doctor hasn’t said anything about getting tested. She just said we would be screened upon arrival. I am wondering if I will have to get tested too

To me no it sting a little after but I think people made it more then what it was got it done Sunday night then induced soon when my results(3-4hours later) came back negative

I was tested before having my daughter and it wasn’t too bad. It’s a lot like the flu swab
