How early should you start buying baby stuff?

I started as soon as i found out inwas pregnant! I bought a few things then around 13wks when i found out the gender i reallyy started shopping! LUCKILY, with everything going on now with covid, im SO happy i did!

Gonna start after anatomy scan next week so around 20 weeks.

I bought a few outfits when I first learned the gender at 12 weeks, and started collecting the bigger/more expensive stuff a little after 20 weeks. I’ll buy something big every couple paychecks, like crib or car seat

I started early on with crib, mattress, car seat/ stroller combo, bassinet, pack and play, baby soap/ lotion, diapers and wipes anything that’s gender neutral. Then when I found out the gender, I went and bought a bunch of clothes, we’re good from 0-12 months. I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant. I decided to buy some cloth diapers today. I only have few boxes of diapers, lots of wipes though. This is my 5th pregnant. If you heard anyone tell you “wait til the baby shower! You’ll get a lot!” Which is lies!!!! I still had to shop for a lot of things for my children before they were born. I’m glad I started all of this, because now we have covid situations.

My baby is 6 months and we are still buying stuff. We bought a few things the week before. You just don’t know what you really want until they get here. Most things you won’t even need right away.

I’m 5 months pregnant and litterly only have bought 2 pairs of clothing for baby. The rest are hand me downs from my bfs sisters. I’m blessed for those clothes because it saves a lot of money
