What are your hospitals rules for delivery now?

In CA hospitals vary w/their rules Mine currently only allows 1 guest (for me itll be husband) for labor & delivery & lets that 1 person stay for just 2hrs after. They are then forced to leave until I am discharged, which means I will be alone w/baby recovering from a c section & doing everything for the first time alone for the 3 days i’m there.
 Anyone else facing new rules blamed on COVID19?

In CO you get one support person and they can stay the whole hospital stay, but if they leave for any reason they’re not aloud back in. So he’ll be with me for the full 3 days after my c-section. It makes no sense they would make him leave?! He’s already been there and you NEED someone. The nurses cannot be with you 24/7 like you will need

We are only allowed one person. That person cannot leave the hospital and must stay in the room at all times. Of course it’ll be my husband, I’m just worried they’ll get more strict. They have put out a notice that due to this update, they provide meals for my husband (or your one person) free of charge which is nice.

My friend just delivered (7th) in California. Her husband stayed with her the entire time. He was told if he left then he cant come back until discharge. But he was allowed to stay until she left. Are you in a county that has a lot of cases or no? 
Also call the l&d and talk to them. Theres zero reason for him to be leaving your side especially after a csection. That's just messed up!

I’m in Orange County California and I’m delivering at Kaiser. My OB told me that husband can come into the hospital only once I get admitted. He can’t leave the hospital at any point because he won’t be able to come back in. The only time he can’t be there is during a c section but as soon as we’re done he will meet us in the recovery room. She did say to my over and over again that this stuff changes daily.... who knows what the rules will be by June

I’m in Fargo ND, we are allowed one support person for the first of my stay and he cannot leave. He will not be able to leave the room for anything, other then c-section I’m assuming. If I can be scheduled then we have to bring EVERYTHING. If we have a false alarm and think we might be admitted we have to bring everything otherwise we’re without cause he can’t leave. It’s gonna be interesting to say the least.

I’m in NC, our hospital allows one person (that will be my fiancé) and they are allowing him to stay the whole 3 days & leave out & come back (as needed). They will check his temperature before letting him come back in the room with baby & I.

In ny I’m allowed one person but they have to get screened every 12 hours and they can stay with me the whole time but if they leave they can’t come back. Also have to be over 18.

I'm also from Cali, the rules for me as it stands rn is one birthing partner who would stay the entire duration of the stay. But there are talks of lifting restrictions come May so who knows what it will be come June. Im due mid June so I'm not too concerned yet about having visitors, also I've only had my husband with me the past two labors so that part is not a big deal for me so much as possibly not having visitors after are.
