Housing association tenants. Advice needed please!

Just wondering if any of you can help me. We’ve been privet renting for years since we’ve had our children. But we can no longer afford to do this anymore it’s just costing us too much. We have our 3rd baby on the way and already paying around £2,700 out a month and only bring home £2,200 per month. So we are always having to borrow money of family just to get all our rent and bills covered 😒 anyway Iv just applied to go on the housing register just to see if we get accepted as that would be a start. We know nothings gonna happen straight away. But I’m just wondering how much would we be roughly paying on rent in a 3 bedroom (if that’s what we’ll be eligible for)? We have 3 girls age 5, 3 & one due July. (Obviously wouldn’t mind if we only manage to get a 2 bedroom) at the moment we are paying just over £1000 on rent for our current house witch is a 3 bedroom. Even privet renting a 2 bedroom isn’t that much cheaper 🙄 so if you don’t mind could you let me know how much you are paying on rent and if you could give us any tips as we are both new to this whole process.
