Would you have a breech birth instead of a c section if your baby would not turn?

My baby is breech I am 36 weeks I’m going to try an ECV but if that doesn’t not work i have the option of breech delivery instead of a c section.. is it too dangerous? I’m terrified of going under and need some guidance on what’s best. What do you think??

It's not as dangerous as people  would  think. You  need to  have  a doctor  who  has  experience with breech  delivery.  C-section  is  a really  invasive  surgery.  I would  go  breech 100% if  your  doctor is ok  with  it.

I personally wouldn’t . I don’t know how a breech baby feels but I had a sunny side up baby and it was painful. Breech has more complications obviously.

With my doctors ied do a breach birth over csection, my drs specalise in high risk and risky births and have delivered hundreds of breach babies, and doing a breach birth is safer for me and baby than if i have to get a csection because of medical issjes i have

Yup my 3rd was breech for ages and finalllly turned last minute . My drs and I discussed a breech delivery since he was my 3rd. They said with subsequent births the cervix is more relaxed. They said had he been my first not but he was my 3rd and it was my decision as I was only less then a minute from or . But if something happened I would have to go or. So for me yes I was going to attempt a breech birth

My midwife told me that with quick births (which I have) breech delivery is not a huge concern. The biggest concern is if the cord comes out before babies head and they aren't getting oxygen. If my daughter stayed breech we would have tried for the delivery, but she flipped over and I'm glad because it made me nervous

Only if it wasn’t my first and my other deliveries were uncomplicated vaginal. 
I’m a L&D nurse and have seen a handful of accidental breech deliveries that went fine

I would like to recommend a Webster method certified prenatal chiropractor! They can help align your pelvis so the baby can turn head down. Regular (painless and safe!) adjustments can keep baby head down too. ECV’s not only hurt (doctors often offer an epidural for it) but only has a success rate of 58% and of those only half of the babies stay in position until labor.

I had a csection with 2, emergency was horrible recovery. Scheduled was a walk in the park. I would hate to labor and then baby doesn’t budge and you weren’t thru all that just to need a csection. I’d opt for csection but I know what to expect.
