Induced?

Question

Has any mother had to be induced or c section because of gestational diabetes? I’m 21 weeks so far and is having the hardest time keeping my sugars at a good level during work. I’m worried because of that and him measuring small I’ll have to have a c section. Any advice? ￼

High protein low carb diet... it absolutely sucks and I’m having to do it for the 2nd time but it’s so important. I ended up on insulin my last pregnancy. My OB stripped my membranes at 38 weeks and said if that didn’t get things going I’d be induced at 39 weeks. (Had him 3hrs later naturally)
C-section was only mentioned because my son was measuring 8lbs at 35 weeks. They prepared me on what they would have to do if he got stuck during delivery or if there were any complications.
He came out easily at 7lb11oz and he’s such a string bean now 🤗
I’m just about 10 weeks along now and had my glucose test yesterday and failed. Diet is SO important I can’t stress it enough

My first I had GD which needed insulin to control. At 38 weeks I was induced and had a beautiful 6 pound 15 oz girl.
