Can you have a yeast infection without the cottage cheese discharge ?

Can yeast infection treat a herpes out break ?

I'm wondering cause I've been paranoid that my boyfriend gave me an std(herpes) we only have oral sex but I read online you can still genital herpes that way. I went to the doctors he swapped me he told me it might be yeast infection but I had no stds. I went to urgent care and the doctor told me it was a yeast infection just no crazy discharge and gave me a pill and it went away ! I'm I over thinking I had cuts down there that's why I'm wondering
