Please help! Amway global questions.

My husband and i were asked by a friend about joining amway global for extra income.  We are interested only for second income to help with our baby coming in april. Is there anyone that is foing this and successful and what are you really making a month? How do you sell products and not just hasseling family? Im interested but i feel the meeting we went to with lots of ppl didnt explain much yet.
