I’m worried I made a mistake

I just got the nexplanon implant the other day becuase I don’t trust birth control pills. I’m just nervous. I haven’t had sex yet with the new birth control, and we will for sure use condoms, but I’m just so nervous that for some reason it just won’t work. I haven’t gotten any side effects yet so that’s making me worry that maybe it has no effect on my body. I can feel it still so that’s good. Any advice?
