Guilt - PLEASE READ!!

So, a while ago, I got into a huge argument with my stepdad. I posted a poll on here a while ago about it. Basically, we got into an argument and he threatened to hit me and I didn’t feel safe there.

Anyways, I decided to stay at my dad’s house for a while. So instead of going back last week Monday, I decided to stay at my dad’s house, and I’ll be here for another week until next week Monday. And then I’ll go back.

But lately, I’ve been feeling guilty about my decision. I feel like I hurt my mother, really badly. And I feel so guilty about leaving her, because my older sister left her when she was my age and moved in with her dad in Ohio, while my mom was in Wisconsin.

Is it normal to feel this guilty about something like this? Am I even allowed to feel guilty?
