Decorating

I really like the geometric squares decor and was wondering if this would be okay in the nursery. I was told this would be too busy and may affect the baby getting to sleep etc. If this is the case I would rather avoid it but just wondered if anyone had any advice or experience about this?

It may seem silly question but if you don’t ask .. you don’t get.

I wouldn’t use darks, I’m thinking of the blues and greys and only on one wall.
