I can't believe my husband did this.

My birthday was Saturday, and my husband and I finally had some time alone. I didn't have a lot planned, just a nice night spending some quality time together watching a movie, and then some naughty bad fun in the bedroom. We ordered pizza from my favorite local place, and watched an episode of one our favorite shows. He asks me to pick out a movie as he starts complaining that he ate too much pizza and just needed to "digest a little" before we proceeded with the evenings plans. I saw no harm in letting him rest, figuring he would need the energy for what I had in store for him..

5 minutes later he is snoring like a bear and I knew I made a terrible mistake, he is impossible to wake up and can be quite cranky.

20 minutes goes by, I try to gently wake him. He stirred a little, smiled, then continued to snore. 10 minutes later the same thing. I decided to try waking him with some of my best lingerie and heels on.

He peeks an eye open, smiles and mutters something, and I knew he wasn't fully awake. After 15 minutes more of trying to wake him, I give up. I change into pajamas and watch a movie in my bedroom as I silently fume.

The next morning, he apologizes like crazy and promises to make it up to me. Sex has felt like a chore since we have been ttc, but Saturday night was for reconnecting and having fun, no pressure. He never initiates, usually I am the one making the first move, and we discussed how it bothers me a little and how it makes me feel desired when he initiates from time to time.

After our son goes to bed he says tells me to relax as he "cleans up". He goes into the bathroom, humming happily to himself. I hear the sink running for a while (our bathroom door is just feet from the sofa), then I hear the clippers and knew exactly what he was doing, and I lost it laughing.

He manscaped a little too much, he buzzed his nether bits like they were just drafted to war. I like a little bit of grass on the field. It felt like sand paper, but the thought was so sweet. He definitely made it up to me last night, but now my kitty is sore from his stubble! Totally worth it.
