Is your 2 year old still on the bottle?

My 2 year old still wants a bottle 2-3 times a day, some days are better then others, I want to cut the bottle completely ASAP any tips or ideas would greatly help!

Make them disappear one night. Like, not even in the garbage....just gone.

We cut out bottles completely a little before he was one. Have you tried letting them pick out a special big kid cup with favorite characters on it maybe one that has a pop up straw or a silicone spout so it feels kinda bottley. That’s tough because I think at this age it’s more of an attachment to the bottle than anything.

Just before my son turned 1 we replaced all bottles with a soft nipple-topped like sippy cup then transitioned into regular sippys and hard spout cups by the time he was 1.5
He is now almost 2.5 and drinks out of a regular cup or straw unless we are out and about- then he uses a sippy cup.

Mine still drinks from a bottle. i hate it but my dad wont stop buying them and giving them to him. im just waiting till i can move out to cut him off.. im tired of fighting about it 🤷🏼‍♀️

When I weaned my son from breastfeeding around 10 mo old we went straight to a sippy cup, even for formula. He was never a fan of bottles BUT my nephew who is only a few months older than my son only recently stopped with bottles. He would’ve kept with them but my sister in law just threw all of their bottles out and didn’t give him a choice. They even switched their 1 y/o straight to sippy cups.

I started off by switching my daughter to the sippy cups with the soft nipple. Then transitioned to sippy cups with hard nipple. She’s been drinking in those since she was about 1 & 2 months. She’s now 2 & 3 months.

We had to just go cold turkey before she turned 2. It’s so bad for their teeth. After day 3 she was fine.
