4 periods in one month?!

Hi guys I’m just wondering if it’s normal to experience bleeding 4 times in one month? I’ve had a full blown period 3 times this month only days apart from each other and today I’m spotty again and worried it’s going to start. I am on the implant as birth control BUT I got it back in September so it’s been well over 6 months and I thought it should have stopped by now? Any experiences???

I had the same thing happen when I got my implant, I was on my period for almost two months. My best friend got her implant and had the same thing happen as well. It would stop and start again. My doctor said it can take up to a year to regulate based on your hormones. I would call your doctor to be sure, you might need to take iron based on how much blood you’re losing.

I also have it and i honestly couldn’t tell you if this works for everyone or not but my period would last up to two weeks, my doctor told me when my normal period would usually stop that i should take 4 ibuprofen at night and then again in the morning until it clears up and sometimes it takes 2-3 days to still clear up but sometimes it’s gone the next morning. Hope this helps!
