Please calm my nerves

I know this is kind of weird to be posting on here, but one of my husbands new co workers (this co workers literal first day 🙄) called in sick said he has a stomach bug. They made him come to work as there was no one to tAke his shift. Now my husband is working 5pm to 10pm with this sick co worker. I’m afraid he is going to get sick/bring it home to me and our son. Can someone please comment and calm my nerves. Maybe he won’t bring it back or get sick? Thanks.
