Ideas for nurse and doctor thank yous

Ch

I know they don’t expect it, and I didn’t do this with my first baby, but with COVID19 I feel so strongly that the nurses and doctors who are still working are going the Lord’s work. Even if they aren’t working directly with COVID patients, they are exposing themselves to risk every day.

So my question is, what can I do or bring for the healthcare workers on staff when I deliver at the end of June? I suspect my husband won’t be allowed to leave the hospital once we’re admitted, so a Starbucks run isn’t really an option. Maybe I could bake something and freeze it, then thaw it out when labor starts and bring it with to the hospital? Do you think we’d even be allowed to bring food in for the staff? Any doctors, nurses, hospital workers in this group who can weigh in on what would brighten your day?
