Back pain? Potentially pregnant?

Happy Quarantine - I am just shy of a week away from my period and over the last 2–3 days my lower back is just killing me. Not sure if it’s the 5 quarantine pounds I have gained or potentially I’m pregnant. Did anyone have sudden lower back pain before a missed period?

Out of all the early symptoms, lower back pain was one of the symptoms that convinced me that I was pregnant. It was too familiar from what I experienced with my first pregnancy. This is my third pregnancy with baby #4. My second pregnancy I had twins.

I did have back pain before I found out I was pregnant, I thought it was weird, my back usually hurts but not that bad lol and then I found out I was pregnant. So maybe!

Back pain could literally be anything.

Back pain is not an early pregnancy indicator. Especially while you’re 1-2 weeks away ￼from period. You haven’t even ovulated yet to get pregnant in that particular cycle so any pain you’re feeling is non related to pregnancy that early on because you’re not even pregnant around that time. I just started experiencing back pain at 2 months pregnant due to the uterus stretching out, HCG hormones, pressure on tailbone, I have to sleep in a heap of pillows and still feel sore lol
