Postpartum weight loss for 40+lbs. What worked for you ladies?!

How are you ladies planning to loose or have lost the baby weight? My second pregnancy has taken over my body. 36 weeks along now but I am already mortified of the postpartum journey to getting my body back. I think by the time I deliver I will have between 40-50lbs to loose. It’s honestly discouraging. I’ve never been good with diets and eating clean. To be honest I basically have always eaten what I want/when I want. Karma 🤦🏼‍♀️ and jokes on me this pregnancy because every calorie I’ve eaten seems to have made its permanent home in my arms, legs and backside. I was a medium pant sized and now I’m most definitely a xl or xxl. It’s so uncomfortable to feel this way.

I plan to breastfeed so please don’t say “breastfeeding and the weight will just melt off”. I lost my weight with my first by breastfeeding but I only gained 20lbs so I know without a doubt that “just breastfeeding” will not be enough.

I have a game plan for exercise but I’m asking about diet....

So grateful for a healthy and easy pregnancy but WOW I FEEL LIKE A LARD.
