Why??

Why are names like hope, joy, faith acceptable but not Love as a name? Just curious. There was a post on here today asking if people liked the name love..(wasn’t my post)

Use whatever name you like, buuuttt the name Love only makes me think of the show You on Netflix

In my case I'm not a fan of "value" or "trait" names in general. I wouldn't choose Hope, Joy, Faith, Chastity, Prudence, Justice, Honor... or Love. If value names are your thing then I agree with you, I don't see how Love should be excluded from the options.
But personally, it's not for me. I don't want to assign something to a child as if they need to uphold it, good intentions or no.

I don't like any of those kinds of names.  It would be cute on a baby but not so much an adult.  Not nearly as bad as some of the names I see on here tho.

To me it’s too try hard. Like it’s trying too hard to be cutesy and meaningful without actually putting in the work to find a name with a good meaning.
