C section stories

So I am scheduled to have a c section on mat 5th due to my baby being breech. We were talking about it yesterday and they were telling me no lifting/vacuuming/ doing jobs for the first 6 weeks.

I just want to know if I am going to be in so much pain for 6 weeks. How long it takes to feel normal..

I know planned c sections have a nicer time healing (most of the time, according to the medical professionals) but I would like to hear both sides of it.

ALSO, I’m planning to get my tubes tied while they are going inside me. But I’m not just going to jump the gun, I would like to hear if anyone has gotten it done and would or would not recommend and for what reason.
