Two words: Lactation consultation
I am a new mom to a now 5 week old daughter 💕
For all the new mamas- I highly suggest seeing a lactation consultant as soon as possible. You may find it through you obgyn, hospital that you delivered at or possibly through the Le Leche group.Â
And just know that every mom and baby are different and that there is no one-way when it comes to breastfeeding your baby. Also know that though you may doubt your nursing ability, you are most likely doing it right! The consultant will give you additional tips and fine-tune what you're already doing.
Lastly, don't give up!Â
