Moms I have a question for you!!!

How many of you have used the owlet sock monitor? I’m debating on buying one (used) I have always been an over-worrier and I think after my baby is born in august I’ll be worrying too much to sleep or rest! I think a product like this may really ease me. Did you guys find that this product really helped ease you? Is there any reasons why you wouldn’t recommend it? Thank you!!!

I use it with my 2 month old since the day we brought her home. I feel that I sleep so much better knowing that she is still breathing. I know in those first few days at the hospital I didn't sleep because I was staring at her chest making sure I could see her breathing.

The owlet was amazing for my nerves! Especially when he caught RSV as well.

I bought the owlet for my daughter, she was premature and spent some time in the nicu so it really was to put me at ease. It never alarmed off for anything other than being out of range or low battery and I eventually stopped using it after the first month. My daughter had silent reflux and would choke on her saliva and the sock never alerted me because the range is so wide in my opinion so I just slept with her right next to my head lol the normal range on the owlet for heart rate is 60-220 bpm, that’s massive to me. And the normal o2 stat range is 80-100%. So your baby would have to be intaking only 79% oxygen according to the sock. But you can watch the vitals live on the app just defeats the purpose when you’re sleeping. 
Idk. I don’t think it’s worth the money, maybe there is something better out there but the owlet never worked for me! But if it’ll give your mind some ease go for it :)
