How far along into your pregnancy will you announce it to family & friends?

Just curious how long most people wait until announcing their pregnancy news?
With my daughter (now turning 5 on Christmas Day) we waited until I was 19 weeks and had a bump to show.
Hoping to do the same this time.
We are super excited but happy to keep it to ourselves for as long as possible.
We live NY and l both our families live in Ireland.

We're telling family and close friends now and I'm just shy of 5 weeks. We figured should a miscarriage occur, we'd have that much more support around us. We couldn't keep it a secret! :)

We plan to tell our families after the first ultrasound just to make sure everythings okay! Should be around 9 weeks

I was trying to keep a secret & my cousin said " I had a dream you were pregnant 2 nights ago" (when I actually found out I was) sooo my face gave it away!! It was at a family party.. So most of my close family knows I'm only 4 weeks. Praying for my bean to stick :)

I just had a positive test yesterday and haven't set up an appointment yet since its the weekend. Only my husband and best friend know. My struggle is that my husband and I live 700 miles away from our parents. They are coming down for Thanksgiving, then we probably won't see them until spring. We're trying to decide if we should tell them when they come down or wait a few more weeks past thanksgiving then just call home with the news.

I found out at 4 weeks and my In Laws know and my parents, sister, and husband know. My first ultra sound is at 8 weeks so I will tell the rest of the family at 8 weeks. Will announce to everyone after I'm at the safe point. I'm now 6 weeks 1day!
