What’s your reasoning?

So I won’t be posting photos of my daughter... I’ve made it very clear. But when I’m asked why, I don’t really have an answer other than the important people will know what my daughter looks like. I don’t need to post her all over social  media. For those of you who don’t post, delayed posting at first, or limit your posting... what’s your reasoning? Just curious 🤷🏻‍♀️

I post about my pregnancy, but will delay posting anything of baby and if I do, it would be 1 pic to announce their arrival and that's it. Just personal preference for me

I’m planning on delayed and very limited posts about my daughter. I’ve kept my pregnancy entirely off of social media and will keep her off of it the first month or two. Posts will be occasional following that (ex included in profile picture I update once or twice a year). My reasons are that 1) it’s a safety measure. I also don’t post about travel until I’ve already returned, and never show my vehicle, etc. 2) if I would not trust a person to be alone with my child, why is it any of their business? 3) I want to be fully present with her and my partner after delivery. Announcing it to those who need to know should be personal and can wait a few hours. Everyone else can find out when they bother to ask or wait until I’m ready to announce it to the public that I have a child

New borns look like raisins to me I want to wait until my baby looks human to post them on social media🤷🏽‍♀️

It’s a safety and privacy issue. 
(I mean, I post my kids,  but plenty of police officers and other safety personnel advise parents to exercise caution)

I post A LOT. 😂 But if you aren’t into it that’s cool. Most people I know that don’t, say it’s to protect their child’s privacy.

I don’t really post things. I don’t have a Facebook. My Instagram is private and the people that follow me I know personally. I’m married, have 2 kids, and one on the way but if I do not know you I don’t share any of that... I’m not really sure why. I guess I just assume no one is interested.
