Intuition?

Question

Just wondering how many of you as soon as you found out you were pregnant knew it was twins?   Like a premonition or"gut" instinct that told you before your ultra sound you were having twins?   And when the scan confirmed it what was your reaction?

I'm 4 weeks pregnant and I feel like my symptoms are here too fast. I've never been pregnant before but im the youngest and I have siblings who have had babies. I don't feel like they were this pregnant as fast. I've got a bump. I'm so hungry! All the time!! I'm exhausted and reading these stories brings tears to my eyes. I feel like I'm having twins. I read an article about early pregnancy tests are due to increased in hcg levels because of twins. While I was reading the article I felt even more connected to my pregnancy and just started smiling. Since then I'm convinced we are having twins. My doctors appt isn't until the 7th of December..I'm not sure I can wait that long! My husband and I have decided to wait to tell until we talk to our doctors. I just feel so lost not talking to anyone. It doesn't matter how much I read..I need to see my little nuggets. Even typing I automatically go to two..any confirmation of my craziness would be appreciated. Thanks ladies!

Twins run in both sides of our family so I always said I would get pregnant w. Twins. My pregnancy test came up super positive super early and I told my mom I thought it was twins. Went in for my first 2 ultrasounds and it looked like just one. By the 3rd scan I was told 100% it was just one and sighed in relief. At 12 weeks 4 days my 4th scan showed there were two babies lol. I'm having identical twins. So I suppose doctors are sometimes wrong and I should have trusted my gut. I wouldn't have nearly died from shock if that were the case lol

I just knew it and we found out at 7 weeks it was twins. My dr said "well that's interesting". I just knew it! My hubby and I laughed when she told us. We always figured if we had twins it would be on baby #4 and it was.

My husband was convinced it was twins right when I got my positive pregnancy test!! I had no clue & had no "gut instinct". We had an ultrasound at 5 weeks and saw 2 gestational sacs! 💜💜

I was pregnant with Momo twins last year (lost them at 3 months sadly ) . I had never really considered twins before this until my grandma told me twins run in the family I then became concerned lol . I started getting big fairly fast & being my first pregnancy found that to be kinda weird . By 11w I had a belly that looked like I was way farther . & my symptoms where so intense ! When I got my ultrasound the doctor informed me that we were indeed pregnant with twins . My initial reaction was pure joy , excitement , shock , & worry . But due to the fact that they were Momo twins ( twins that share the same sac & placenta ) their cords had gotten twisted & she found no heartbeat for either baby . 
Honestly I think if you are going to have twins there is really no way to tell unless you are super in tune with your body (& an ultrasound of course ). . Some women just have that gut feeling & know .

I had dreams and definitely a gut feeling. I told several people who thought I was crazy and then we went to our first ultrasound and we were right, twins! 14 weeks today 💞

OK good so now I don't feel crazy for feeling like this!  I'm 8 weeks and 6 days and feel huge!  It wasn't like this worth my first pregnancy.  We always said when we tried for the next one that it was going to be twin boys and they would be born on 6-6-2016.  My due date is 6-13-2016.  Funny coincidence that a month after I stop taking the pill and we actually tried to get pregnant, we were lucky enough to succeed.   Twins runs on both sides of the family but no one has had them for the past two generations.   But then again no one has had children over the age of 25.  I'm now 31 and pregnant with our 2nd.  I have already had to bust out the maternity pants and even some of my yoga pants are too tight!  I've had morning sickness severe heartburn no matter what I eat.   And I have this gut feeling it's the twins we have wanted, my husband even told me he prayed that it was twins when he found out I was pregnant.   We go for our first ultra sound tomorrow!

Yep, first pregnancy knew it was twins.  Confirmed at 6w, lost one at 6w5d.  This pregnancy had no clue (likely because of my last experience).  Twins, now 27 weeks PG.

I knew before the ultrasound. I kept telling my husband and he didn't believe me and then, there they were :-)
