How long did it take you to conceive ?

If you have been on a ttc journey , how long did it take before you actually conceived? What did you do? What did your partner do ? Any tips and advice ?

8 years. We just stoped worrying about it and when I sidnt think about it I was pregnant. It was honestly a miracle. I mean we did have sex on my period this time which I ovulate early so that may have been it. We rarely have sex on my period and he stayed inside for a few extra seconds. But other than that. I didnt do any of my teas or pills or oils or anything this time. I havnt for about 5 months.

2.5 years i saw a doctor and me and hubby had numerous tests he was fine, i had a blocked fallopian tube and didnt ovulate every month, we had 1 mc then 8 mnths later we were given clomid through ivf first stage and caught soo thankful could have been a much longer harder journey but my journey was hard enough for me we went through afew periods of stopping trying because itwas all too much you need to keep sane, now i have a healthy 1 yr old and im 12 weeks pregnant naturally ❤️ xx

Tried for exactly 2 years. A year and a couple months tried by ourselves and OPKs. My OB did testing before we went to a specialist last June. Started Letrozole a couple of months later and conceived in December :) next step was IUI but we were waiting due to my insurance not covering it and just waiting a until I was done with school. Thankfully we didn't have to do it!

About 2 years in total. 
- 6 months without contraception
- 6 months using OPK testing and (attempting) to time intercourse
- 12 months using assisted fertility with medication and ovulation tracking
Conceived without assistance while waiting for a period so I could prepare for IVF which was the next step.
I have PCOS, and my husband is much older than I am, so we resorted to assisted fertility rather quickly in the interests of timing. 
After 3-4 cycles of the medicated assistance didn’t work, a few diagnostic tests (contrast dye exams, detailed examinations of my uterus and ovaries via ultrasound) - everything, mechanically was deemed perfectly working order.
Husband had a normal sperm count, but “borderline” sperm mobility, which can often change from test to test.
My take? Sometimes it doesn’t matter if you’re “healthy” or not, or have something medically that might get in the way. I still reckon it’s pot luck half the time. 
I mean cmon, conceiving without any meds after trying non stop for 2 years? It’s almost a sick joke!

It took us 7 months. I wasn’t on any birth control for years prior to TTC. I tried pre-seed, a bunch of pink stork products...I got pregnant when I was on a 2 week vacay from work, in Mexico where I drank everyday, and didn’t use anything. Who knows if there is any rhyme or reason. The one thing I would suggest is using OPKs.  I learned I’m a late ovulator. I ovulate towards the end of my cycle. All the apps have you fertile mid cycle which wasn’t the case for me.

3 years. The moment i stopped keeping track of everything And “gave up” it happened randomly. Funny enough everyone kept telling me that through all the tears, negatives and stress
