6 more days til fiancé deploys with preemie baby in NICU

I have been doing my best to stay positive for him & for our baby. And truthfully, today is the first day that it has really hit me that I am going to be caring for a preemie NICU baby ALONE for a YEAR.

It’s one thing to be faced with our daughters grade 4 brain bleed & all the possible complications that brings. BUT to couple that with a fiancé in the Middle East... I REALLY CANNOT CATCH A BREAK 😅😕

I try to not show him that I’m worried, but I am. I want him to be able to leave and feel like I have everything under control so he can focus on staying safe.

We don’t really have family that live near us - we are both Nor cal transplants from the east coast - & with COVID-19 terrorizing everyone, our parents are afraid to travel.
