Anyone get lucky with a Varicocele

Hey all

I wanted to know if anyone else has had success conceiving with a varicocele, without having the surgery?

Hubby has a health condition and we don't really want him having surgery. We've also heard its very hit or miss and the cost of the surgery in New Zealand is a fair bit of money.

I was hoping to hear from people who might have got lucky and conceived with this issue?

Background: I (31) came off birth control in November 2017 and have been actively been trying since Feb 2018 with no luck. Hubby (42) has two kids from a previous marriage and was diagnosed with a varicocele a year ago.
