Hurting

I have been nursing every now and then but pumping very religiously (every 2-3 hrs). Now my boobs hurt even with just my clothes touching it. It almost felt the same way when my milk came in. When I felt engorged, my boobs never got hard, just extremely painful. Could this just be engorgement? My boobs are soft my nipples are hard. Please help. I want to be able to keep pumping but the pain is getting worse. :(
