Have you given baby yogurt?

Question

We just started solids a week ago and ive given him strawberries, banana, and avocado. Yesterday I tried yogurt. About 4.5 hours later he threw up and it looked like yogurt! I breastfed him and 30 minutes later he threw up a ton of breastmilk! He seemed totally fine and happy otherwise. I think the yogurt just didn't sit well with him maybe. Have any of you tried yogurt yet? I think I'll hold off on it for now and try again in a month or so

We buy yogurt specifically for babies & never had issues.

We have given yogurt a couple times now and she really liked it. No issues with vomiting or diarrhea after. Have you tried any cheese or other dairy?

Yep! But dairy is one of the big 8 allergens, so something to test without any other allergens at the same meal and monitor. 
I don’t believe yogurt in the spit up is cause for concern but vomit (projectile not fountain-like, upset versus non-upset baby) may be a sign of sensitivity. That said, our baby had a stomach bug one night and we saw real vomit for the first time—and we were convinced it was the avocado we had served him for dinner. But we’ve introduced it a few other times since then and no problemo.
My baby spits up some of his solid food just like he would breastmilk. It’s 1000% grosser but I think some babies may do it for a few more months.

My LO has been (milk based)formula fed since birth, and she had the exact same reaction to yogurt, I was going to do some more research and see if it was the kind of yogurt or timing
