what’s the aftercare of a tattoo ?

i looked it up on google, but i want to know what you all recommend to do for tattoo aftercare ! thank you

The tattoo artist will run you through it, but not sunlight while healing, washing it everyday very gently with unscented soap, and using a moisturizer like Vaseline or Aquaphor. I personally like Aquaphor. 
I have six tattoos and the tattoo artist explained aftercare every time still.

With having sensitive skin, I use unscented lotion and dove gentle exfoliating soap.  The only time I use Vaseline is when my artists use it.  
Avoid the sun, saltwater, pools and sunscreen for 48hrs at least if you want to keep your tattoo looking like it’s brand spanking new.

Wash once a day in the shower, apply lotion once or twice a day

No sun or tanning beds on it or it’ll fade and lotion without fragrance. No need to wash it bc it could cause ink to fall out.
