BFN via UTI urine sample 6dpo.

AF due 11/14. Glow had my OV 10/30. I went to the dr on 11/5 with UTI symptoms and mentioned we were trying, but it was too soon to know. She did a test with my urine and it was a BFN. she seemed to think I was def not pg since the test is accurate if sex was had 12 days prior. I was only 6 dpo, so it was more recent than that. I have had no symptoms... Currently 8dpo. Am I out? Or is there hope?
