This is not a yes and no answer. Some people will cheat if they know they can get away with it. Others will never cheat. And some find themselves in situations they never thought would happen and things go too far. So yes some will cheat but others won't.

Isn't there like a law or something that you can get court marshaled if you're in the military and you cheat?

My husband wasn't popular in school. Women never spared him a second glance. Then he joined the marines and now women are all over him (according to him) and it flatters him. He's never had attention from other females so he doesn't know how to respond and will regularly let things go too far.I think for men who join the military and are suddenly sought after by women who are into military guys might be tempted to cheat, yes.

Cheaters will cheat because they are cheaters, don't need an excuse and will take advantage of an opportunity. 
Non-cheaters won't cheat because they aren't cheaters, will look for excuses to get out of compromising situations even when given the opportunity. 
I would like to add cheating starts before the actual act.  Its thinking about it, talking to people or going places to find love or attention outside of the relationship.  This is very tempting when an SO is gone for a long time or doing a long distance relationship and that's where good people can find themselves making poor choices.  Rule number one in military relationships: stay busy, stay loyal, you will be together again soon!

It's really shitty, but I know so many people that have cheated on their SO's in the military. Currently, I have a friend, who's openly dating an openly married man, who's also in the military. They could both get in huge trouble but they don't care.

I think it can easily go both ways.
My husband has been in for 7 years now (we've been together 6 years - married 3) now I'm not going to air our dirty laundry but I can saw we've had our own issues-- no physical cheating though- at least as far as I am aware of.

Anyway, my brother has been a couple years now and when he left or basic & AIT he was engaged to a girl we went to HS with (now I'll be honest she was a royal bitch. Who made everyone around her miserable) anyway, my brother cheated on her every chance he got, she knew he was, she was even cheating when he left for Basic. My brother got his 1st duty station overseas, met another medic and they started dating- within the first 6 months of dating she cheated twice and used the excuse that "she was lonely" because when the cheating happened she had been sent out on a mission in Turkey.. my brother still married her 8 months later.. but they're still overseas and no one has ever met her yet.

When my dad was in the army, his 1st wife cheated on him every chance she got.
I know of a few people who were known as "barracks bunnies" because they were known to sleep w/anyone single or in a relationship.

It happens. NOT EVERY ONE cheats, not everyone will go through infidelity either. But military and their non military spouses I think cheat equally and those same people cheating would probably cheat regardless of if they or their spouse, was military.

Just as much as in the civilian life.... I am in the army and despite the "no frat rules" I have seen and heared some f***ed up shit.... Just as civilians too.

I don't think them being in the military has anything to do with cheating. Other than opportunity, but even then it's more so for the spouse (non military member) to cheat.

My ex cheated on me with 3 different girls. I then realized I had been blind the whole time. We were married 3 years, when I moved with him to NC finally, some girl was saying she was pregnant and it was his. She was stalking me and crazy. After the baby was born she was married to some guy but then kept messaging my husband, he ignored her. Finally I found out he was cheating with 3 different girls. I looked at the baby finally, 100% my red headed cheating husbands child. I left the next week and moved back to Texas and filed for divorce. He got to keep the house, car, my dog, and doesn't send any spousal support that he is ordered to send.
