Anyone else terrified of COVID?!

I’m 24+3 and terrified feeling like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. 
My husband and I have been following strict protocols but how long will this go on. If I do get it my immune system is already lowered because of now how sedentary I am, not a lot of sun exposure, taken acid reducers, depressed, stressed, and have mild hyperthyroid.. wondering how my baby and I will make it out of this alive.

I’m not afraid. Take any bit of hope you have and just focus on it. I work at a grocery store so I’m pretty much constantly exposed to the public. One of my coworkers contracted it, unfortunately. But I try to just say I’m doing what I can to take precautions. Even in a bad situation, you can find things to be happy about. Are you sick right now? No. So live in the moment and try to not let your mind wander into what if’s for the future. There isn’t anything you can do to safely leave the house? Find a hidden trail or walk in a neighborhood and just avoid others? How about going for a ride in the car with the windows down to get some fresh air?

First, stop watching the news. It will literally make you crazy. They aren’t giving all the facts all the time. Second, mama, you can only control yourself. Wash your hands, try not to touch your face, and keep doing what you are doing. Unfortunately, this virus isn’t going anywhere. I have a feeling it’s going to be just like the seasonal flu the way it returns. We have to build an immunity to it at some point so people need to be exposed. I know it’s not much comfort but try to remember that a majority of the people who get it survive.

I’m 36+3 and I’m only terrified of getting it because the hospital is making me test for it the day before my scheduled C section. If i test positive, I will have to be alone the entire time and my baby could be quarantined.

I’m so afraid!!! What a scary time to be pregnant. I want this all to go away. My city is still on lock down thank god. I’ve been off work since March 15!! So I’ve not left the house except  for walks

You can only control yourself. Wash your hands, stay away from people you know are sick. The rest is out of your hands. Try to keep busy and play positive affirmations. Baby needs you to be as positive as can be :) the virus sadly is unlikely to be going anywhere anytime soon. Also try to avoid news outlets. They replay stats constantly which can cause immense fear and panic.
