Recurring BV

I’ve had BV in the past never too serious and it has cleared up on its or over been prescribed antibiotics. I am very serious about my hygiene so when it would happen I would be extremely uncomfortable as I’m sure most are. Since I’ve been pregnant I’ve had BV I was prescribed a gel to put into my vagina for about a week. At the time my discharge was the main issue not really a smell. Shortly after taking it I would notice the symptoms again. I was prescribed it once again after testing positive for it a second time.

Since then I’ve noticed discharge nothing too crazy and from what the app says normal but recently I started to notice a smell. And it’s something I can smell clothed. I just pulled my pants down in front of my boyfriend and he said what’s that smell? I am sooo frustrated right now. Idk why this keeps happening. Is it just a pregnancy thing? And is the gel working or not? Anyone else experience this?
