Smash cake icing?

Question

So baby hasn’t had sweets yet, only natural sugars like fresh fruit. I’m doing a smash cake with a muffin recipe he LOVES. Carrot, zucchini, banana, & oatmeal, I know he’ll prolly eat it all if I let him 😂 I’ll be doing a two tier 6 in cake. My question is what should I do for icing??? I don’t want it to have added sugar but understand if that’s the only way to make it happen. Any mommas found a good recipe or alternative like a yogurt based frosting? Please share your ‘unsweet’ 🤷‍♀️ “frosting”. TIA and all suggestions/variations are welcome!

Heavy whipping cream and mashed brownish skin bananas. It adds a good amount of sweet without being overpowering or overwhelming. 
Just whip up the cream to stiff peaks, then fold in the mashed up banana. Ratio will vary depending on desired sweetness level. I’d start with just scant of the amount of cream you need to cover the cake, and add in mashed banana to taste, starting with half a banana and working my way up from there. 
I did this when I quit refined sugars to help with sweet cravings. The fat in the cream filled me up quick with just a tad of natural, unrefined sugar. I even froze it to give me a sense of eating ice cream and only a couple spoons full did the trick. 
You could also try doing other fruits instead of banana such as pineapple, mango or blueberry. Not sure how it would turn out with the pulp from mango or pineapple, but as long as you’re using the whole fruit and not taking out the fiber, it’s a good alternative to something like sugar, syrup or honey.
