No pregnancy confirmation

Hi all,

I went for my pregnancy confirmation appointment today. My periods have been irregular so I wasn’t sure of how far along I am but estimated about 6 weeks based on possible conception. But when my partner and I went to the appt today we found out I’m only 5 or so weeks. The doctor pointed out the yolk/pregnancy sack on the ultrasound but couldn’t confirm a baby yet. Now I’m just so anxious and worried about miscarriage or that the baby isn’t developing properly. We have another appt next week but I’m just so overwhelmed with the waiting and being in lock down with the pandemic is making the wait seem even worse.

Has this happened to any of you? Any uplifting advice? Thanks!
