Pains on one side in early pregnancy

Faye
Hi all
After a year of trying, a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, being told I had blocked / damaged tubes and was unlikely to ever conceive naturally and finally being referred for IVF, I found out earlier this week that I am pregnant having conceived completely naturally!
However, due to my blocked / damaged tubes I am at a higher risk of having an eptopic pregnancy. If counting from the first date of my last period, I will be 5 weeks as of tomorrow and for the last few days I have been experiencing dull pelvic / abdominal pains, predominantly on the right hand side. The pain is not sharp or severe and can come and go. I haven't had any bleeding or other problems.
Has anyone else had a similar experience and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy? I've read about ovarian cysts and ligament stretching causing one-sided pain but due to my history I am terrified the pregnancy may be eptopic. I am going for an early scan on Thursday but would love to hear your stories in the mean time to get an idea of what might be going on.
Faye xx
