I’ve been driving my 2002 Toyota Corolla since high school, and now that we have two kids, it’s finally time a new-to-me car!!! 
Budget is $18,000 and we do not want a minivan 😬

We're expecting our third in July and bought a 2017 Toyota Highlander. We bought it in February and I've been so happy with it! Before, I was driving a jacked up 2004 f250 superduty and before that, my 2000 mustang with two kids! I've honestly never been so satisfied with a vehicle as I have my Highlander. It gets good gas mileage for an SUV (better than both of my previous vehicles), drives super smooth, has amazing headlights, handles well in the rain, and has so many safety features. We are actually considering trading in my Mustang for a second Highlander next year.

We have a Camry, RAV4 and Highlander. Love them all. Toyota’s are pricey tho. Brand new Highlanders are $50k where I live.

I loved my forester, but with 2 kids, I would go with a highlander to have that extra row if you need it. Also, I have loved my various Toyota’s over the years.
