Tips to relieve earache pain

So I’m pretty positive I have an ear infection yesterday my throat started to hurt on one side bit now today my ear hurts and my throat on the same side and it’s really bad when I swallow. My doctor can’t get me in till next we but luckily I can go to urgent care in the morning at 8am , right now I’m in desperate need to ways to relieve the pain so I can sleep. I’ve been taking ibuprofen and gargling with salt water that’s not really helping.
