Awesome Mother’s Day!

In early February, my husband and I had booked a private 3D/4D Ultrasound on Mother’s Day itself so that both of our moms could join us for a special Mother’s Day gift! It’s would be both their first time seeing their only grandson by ultrasound and we knew none of our siblings had them come to an appointment of theirs so it would be an exciting experience.

Well COVID happened and the store canceled appointments for feb, March and April. Finally we get a call that as of May 1, my state gave some businesses the ability to reopen slowly. We were informed that our Mother’s Day apt will still go on but everyone had to wear masks.

My husband and I wrote a special note in each of their Mother’s Day cards about the appointment on Mother’s Day and mailed them! They opened them on skype and were beyond excited!

So yesterday, my husband and I got to have the gift of our moms, (hadn’t seen my mom since early feb and wasn’t sure I would see her again before baby comes) I got the gift of seeing my son on Mother’s Day and our moms got to experience something so precious and special with us.

We were only together for a short time, well protected with more then a mask, and still got to see our son smile when I said grandmas were here! 😍

It was magical and I highly recommend planning this concept with your moms next year if you can!
