Friends with benefits , am I tripping?

So me and this guy been taking for over a month now. We would text everyday all day and talk on the phone and hang out. We did decide to be friends with benefits at first so yeah we casually had sex but from what my understanding we were suppose to only be having sex right? Nothing more nothing less well after the first time having sex he would still hangout with me..and we would go to eat and he would text me as soon as he leaves me..so yeah of course i ended up falling for this guy. NOT ONLY that but he would literally compliment me and make me feel good so at that point I thought ok there’s feelings involved now and we had the talk and he said he did like me and there is feelings there and soon we’ll make it official he just doesn’t wanna rush it..well the past two weeks he’s been inconsistent with texting me like replying late and I tried to keep cool about it you know not over react but lately I been double texting him and he said he gets busy but he posts on Instagram and yes most of the time he’s posting on Instagram he’s with his friends and their out of town. He’s never gone more than two days without texting me but I feel like when we do text he’s not really talking with me he’s just “wyd” and replying every hour or two and than saying he’ll text me tomorrow. Today we hung out and yeah we had sex and he gives me kisses when we go to the store he’s always offering me if I want something or to get down with him and pick something out. Our sex is amazing I have him moaning and he has me moaning. ♥️ we hold hands during sex he moans my name and everything but still lately just feel like that’s all I am is a booty call which I know we agreed to be nothing more but when he did all this extra stuff and admitted feelings for me thing’s took a turn and now he’s acting dull. Is it just me rushing thing and expecting to much from him or should I stand my ground and tell him to step up or this thing we have is done?
