ivf after clomid?

cycle buddies! I have always had a strange 34-36 cycle and since my feb mc, it's been two cycles of 34-36 and then a missed period so another one comes in at 70 days ... and this has happened, twice! is there anyone with my cycle? a scan said I have a polysystic ovary on the right but maybe due to weight gain. I'm nearly 38, and with the biological clock ticking, I'm thinking I'll try clomid next month, and then without fail I'll skip iui ( as I think success rates aren't best) and just go private with ivf? any advice? really confused
