Anyone with babies who had a reaction to berries?

I'm just wondering if they eventually grow out of it? My son loves blueberries & raspberries (he is only about to be 10 months on the 15th) but they give him a horrible butt rash. That's the only reaction he has, though..nothing scary. I'm just looking for hope that maybe one day he can eat them again.

My sister’s youngest has this same reaction. He will be 3 at the end of August and this is still going on, so she is thinking of bringing him to al allergist when it’s safe to do so.

It’s probably just a reaction to the acid in them, not an allergy. When my daughter was little she got a rash around her mouth after eating a ton of strawberries. She eats them all the time now and is fine.

Berries like raspberries, strawberries and blueberries are known to cause butt rashes in little ones. I actually just googled reactions to berries the other day cause my little one was having terrible gas from raspberries. 
I just cut back on how much she was getting and only gave them to her at lunch and not with dinner. Seems to have helped.

I got a face rash from strawberries when I was a baby but I definitely ate them when I was an older kid.
