I’m ready for a commitment relationship. I’ve been talking to this guys for a while. We are exclusive, he says he loves me and we act like a couple. The only thing missing is the title. He doesn’t wan to be bf/gf but I do. I’m tired of waiting for the title. 
1. Is the title really that important
2. If so, how can I move on from him?

Cut him off, if he wants to act single he can be single. Stop talking. Stop anything. A guy who wants to be with you will have no issues calling you his girlfriend

Sounds like he doesn’t want commitment. Only way to change things is for you ti talk to him and say you will only continue if you are official. 
If you keep doing what ur doing, he really has no reason to stop. He’s getting everything he wants. He could be talking n fucking other girls rn and technically that’s not cheating. 
There’s a reason he’s not making you his gf (and it’s not ur fault it’s his.) Speak up and communicate. Give him an ultimatum cuz you dont deserve that.
