TTC after chemical miscarriage

Hey guys, I’m hoping someone can help me out a little. I found out I was pregnant at 11DPO (5/7) and kept testing but saw that it became fainter. Af was due to arrive on Monday 5/11 and I was hoping that it wouldn’t but it did (I was 4weeks). I called my OB and explained what happened and she believes I’m having a chemical pregnancy. I am to go see her in a week or 2 and she wants me to wait until I get another period before I try again. However, I believe that since AF came the day it was supposed to anyway that it should not through off my cycle. I’m usually regular 30 days but this past month was 29. I would like to try again in two weeks when I ovulate. I want to know if anyone has ever had a chemical pregnancy and tried again right after or if they waited. Also, if you tried right away, did you get pregnant again and was it successful?
