Irregular and taking tests

Those of you who are not trying to get pregnant and have semi irregular periods, when did you take a test? My period varies by being right on time (32 days from last period) to being a month late and skipping it all together.

I’m not on any bc and don’t plan to be. And with my luck I’d spend the $20 on the tests only to have my period come within minutes of taking it lol.

So, when did you test?
