Getting close????

So FTM, I'm currently 40+3 and sooo over being pregnant! I had a membrane sweep yesterday and and was 2cm, but other than some initial cramping and a little period like cramping a bit later in the day... nothing seemed to be happening. This morning it seems like baby girl has finally dropped down and a little bit ago i think just about all of my mucus plug fell out, which I hadn't previously lost any of. Still nothing other than the occasional Braxton Hicks though. Any mom's had a similar situation and gone into labor soon? I have an induction date for the 17th but really wanna go on my own.
