I took an EPT and another brand of test at home and within a minute got my BFP. I was so excited as we have been trying for three years. I went to the health department and their test was negative! AF not due until Friday. I'm just bummed now and don't know how to feel. They say their tests aren't made to detect the hormone unless you're late... But I feel like we got excited for nothing. Is this a normal thing? Could two tests of a different brand really given me false positives??
