Which Birth Control will you be getting/are on currently?

My 6 week PP check up is tomorrow and the OB is going to be asking which one I want. I’m still unsure! I have done the pill and it failed, plus gave me nonstop bleeding. I did nexplanon for 3 years and again had nonstop bleeding plus daily headaches after the 2 year mark. It worked and prevented pregnancy though. I’m way too scared to get an IUD so I was considering maybe the depo shot? Just curious to see what you ladies enjoy the most. 
PS: can they hurry up and make the pill for men to take instead? 😫

Condoms. I might look into getting a diaphragm. I’m not getting on any type of birth control. It makes me have depression and anxiety, headaches, nausea, vaginal dryness, and decreased sex drive. And I’m not willing to insert foreign bodies into me. Also I’ve heard nothing but terrible things with the depo shot.

We were so careful after our first was born and used condoms every time we had sex despite not having a period until a year pp. Our oldest is almost 4. This time we're gonna kinda go for it and see what happens. We know we want one more baby and #2 took us a bit longer than expected due to a mc and 8 months of trying for our rainbow. We barely tried for our first so we were totally caught off guard.

I had the depo after my daughter was born. It made me bleed nonstop and I got sick a lot. I went back on the pill and was still sick all the time. I ended up not taking anything and using the pullout method until we were ready for another baby (our son we just had) I don’t recommend doing that though either.
This time around they removed my tubes. Permanent sterilization. No more babies lol.

I got the depo shot after having my baby, and I do not plan on getting it again. She’s now 6w and I haven’t stopped bleeding. (No sign of it stopping either) I’ll go back to tracking my cycle & using the pullout method/condoms.

I’m in my 40s, had uterine surgery and a csection. We decided to have our One and we are done. I went on the pill at my 6wk and will look into other options if it isn’t working for me (side effects). I’m not ready for a hysterectomy.

I have the Mirena and I’ve had no side effects so far. I’m 7 weeks pp and I had it put in three weeks ago when I was 4 weeks pp. But choose whichever one you think would be best for you.

We’re using condoms but my vote would be for Nuvaring. Less invasive than an IUD but not daily like the pill. I have also used the patch and it was ok too. I’ve had friends use Nexplanon and it got lost in their arm. It took multiple tries to finally get it out plus lots of weight gain.

I had an IUD. It worked perfectly, but really irritated my endometriosis. I’m back on the mini pill which is what I took before we had our third.

I got the IUD but had to get it taken out soon after because it moved.  I cant do the pill because even if i set an alarm i can never take it like im supposed to and thats why i just had a baby. I just got the nexplanon this week.  So far i haven't noticed any side effects and i still havent had a period since i gave birth 9 weeks ago.

None. I track my period and we do pull out method. Worked for 9 years now. Once we’re certain we don’t want more, my husband is getting snipped.
